Privacy and cookie policy
This page explains what information is processed when you visit www.demaft.com, which cookies are used, and your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What information does the site process?
- Contact form: the topic you choose, your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your company and phone number; also the page you sent the form from and the site language. This information is used only to answer your request and prepare a quotation; it is forwarded by email to info@demaft.com and kept in the site’s admin panel.
- Server logs: the IP address of the device that opens the page, browser information, the requested page and the time. Kept for security and troubleshooting and deleted after about 14 days.
- Language selection: when you open the home page (www.demaft.com), your browser’s language setting and the country of your IP address are checked instantly against a database on our server so that the site opens in the right language. Your IP address and country are not stored or shared for this purpose. The country data comes from DB-IP’s “IP to Country Lite” database (db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0).
- Anonymous contact statistics: when a phone link is clicked or the form is sent, the event type, page, language and device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) are recorded. No IP address, browser identifier, name or email address is written to this record. If statistics are on, the source you came from (e.g. Google, an ad, an AI assistant) is added to this record.
- Statistics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity): lets us see in aggregate which pages are read, where visitors come from and how the pages are used. It is on by default for basic visit statistics; you can turn it off at any time with the “Reject” button in the cookie bar or under “Settings”. For visitors from the EU, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, no cookies are used until you allow them.
- Marketing (only with your permission and when an advertising campaign is running): Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising tags. They measure whether visits from our ads turn into enquiries.
Legal grounds
- Contact form and email correspondence: answering your request and the possible conclusion of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c, GDPR art. 6/1-b).
- Server logs, language selection and anonymous contact statistics: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site and in serving it in the right language (KVKK art. 5/2-f, GDPR art. 6/1-f).
- Statistics: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site (KVKK art. 5/2-f, GDPR art. 6/1-f); you can object and turn it off at any time. In the EU, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, statistics cookies are set only with your consent (GDPR art. 6/1-a).
- Marketing cookies: your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1, GDPR art. 6/1-a). If you do not give it, these tags are never loaded.
Cookies and browser storage
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. When you turn statistics or marketing off, the measurement cookies already set are deleted.

International transfers
Google and Microsoft may process statistics data, and Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft may process advertising data, on servers abroad, including in the United States. Contact form emails are delivered to info@demaft.com through the Brevo email service, which is based in the European Union (France). The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Lightsail).
Retention periods
- Contact form messages: 2 years, then deleted automatically. Email correspondence: for as long as your request and any contractual relationship last, and for the statutory retention periods.
- Server logs: about 14 days.
- Country check for language selection: not stored.
- Anonymous contact statistics: kept indefinitely for statistical purposes, as they contain no personal data.
- Cookies: the periods given in the table above.
Your rights
Under article 11 of the KVKK and the GDPR you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to have it corrected or erased, to object to the processing and to claim compensation if you have suffered damage. You can send your request to info@demaft.com or to the postal address above; we reply within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.
Changes
This policy is updated when the measurement and contact tools on the site change. The current version is always on this page.
